The Georgian Association of Reproductive Health welcomes  and congratulates the Black Sea Woman Health Society and Georgian Society of Gynecological Oncology their decision to hold a Meeting of the 1st. International Black Sea Obstetric and Gynecology Meeting and 3rd Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, on May 31st - June 3rd, 2020, in Batumi, Georgia.

The progress in oncological gynecology is quite impressive. It is generally known, that the breast and cervical cancer was taking the “unfortunate” first place in women’s mortality rate for many years. Currently, it has been “moved down” to the 3rd-4th position and the process is still continued, first of all, due to early diagnostics.

Reproductology is doing well in Georgia as well. Our country is one of the first countries in the World, where the reproductology, officially is recognized as independent medical discipline involving  not only women, but man, as well. The process was encouraged by many years of experience of I. Zhordania Institute of Reproductology –  the oldest clinic of this profile in  the World.       

The Georgian Association of Reproductive Health delightedly joins  the integration process of Georgia in the development system of Black sea countries medical sciences and assures to make a considerable contribution in the process above.
